Get to Know Me
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space, empathetic/active listening as a compassionate presence and witness to see you, hear you, and meet you where you are in your human condition. My hope is to inspire your inner compassionate healer to go through your current circumstance and increase sense of peace, meaning and purpose.
As an Asian American woman, I have a personal understanding of how to successfully navigate multicultural systems, especially those of Eastern/Western combined backgrounds. A rich full life experience as a classical musician/artist before mid-life, helps inform my service with added empathetic capacity.
In the center of my therapeutic approach is a strong therapeutic relationship with clients based on compassion and empathetic understanding/listening/seeking to know.
When I am not seeing clients, I like to play with my beloved 13 yo Shitzu Terrier rescue named Sky.
I love to read - I especially love reading ancient philosophy. I enjoy many downward dogs in my yoga practice and do practices which help me grow in my own spirit and soul in daily. On my bucket list is to take some tennis lessons someday soon and travel to Tibet and Patagonia.
I wish you beauty, healing and recovery, and ultimately a celebration of all that is in store for you in your unique personal journey. Looking forward to being of service to you.
